“Island & Beaches”

June 26th - July 1st, 6 DAYS, $900

Departing from Tall Ships Brockville, meander past the scenic islands and historic shorelines of the Thousand Islands. Leaving the headwaters of the St. Lawrence River, we’ll sail out into Lake Ontario, gliding silently past Kingston Harbour, and onward around Prince Edward County, we’ll sight the rolling hills of Northumberland County. As the hills give way to the shimmer and bustle of the GTA, we’ll enjoy the modern skyline of Toronto before heading south across the lake to the heritage beach town of Port Dalhousie.

QUALIFIES FOR DUKE OF EDINBURGH SILVER OR GOLD ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY. $200 Deposit.

COURSE 2

“Coming to America” or “Time to Rock & Roll”

Port Dalhousie, ON - Tall Ships Cleveland, OH

JULY 3rd - 7TH, 5 DAYS, $750

Packing up and leaving the beach behind at Port Dalhousie, we’ll head up the amazing Welland Canal, and on into Lake Erie. Sailing out of Port Colborne, we’ll make way west around Long Point, crossing south for the city of Cleveland, OH to take part in the Tall Ships Challenge series.

COURSE 3

“(Blue) Water Under the Bridge”

Tall Ships CLEVELAND, oh - SOUTHAMPTON, ON

JULY 10TH - 16th, 6 DAYS, $800

Departing from the vibrant, historic Cleveland, OH - home to the Rock & Roll HOF - on the heels of a Tall Ship Festival. Sail across the Western Basin of Lake Erie bound for the rivers. Check out the Motown skyline as we pass the metropolis of Detroit & head up into the St. Clair River. Passing under Bluewater Bridge we’ll enter the clear, wide open waters of Lake Huron, and set sail up the lake for beautiful Southampton, ON

COURSE 4

“Rounding the Bruce, bound down G’Bay for Midland”

Southampton, ON - tall ships midland, ON

JULY 18th - 23rd, 6 DAYS, $1100

Passing west through Southampton piers and into the pristine blue waters of Lake Huron, we’ll sail north around the Bruce Peninsula, past Fathom Five National Marine Park & Flowerpot Island, and into Georgian Bay. Enjoy the serenity and natural beauty of Georgian Bay region as we sail silently south, ending the course at Tall Ships Midland.

COURSE 5

“Expanded Horizons”

July 25th - August 25th
30 DAYS, $4000

This program is designed to provide an exceptional foundation for young people aspiring to become Outdoor Educators, Mariners, and Sailors - or any youth looking for an in-depth adventure traveling through amazing locations. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend a month sailing Georgian Bay, Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, and Lake Erie. There are limited spaces available for this expedition, so get your name on the application list ASAP!

The course is open to everyone between 16-21. Applicants are expected to fundraise to help cover the cost of joining the ship through efforts supported by Tall Ship Expeditions Canada. There are only six spaces available for general applicants.

Departing from Tall Ships Midland, set sail for Manitoulin Island, The North Channel, The Sault, Whitefish Bay, The open waters of Lake Superior, The Apostle Islands, Tall Ships Two Harbours, MN, Thunder Bay, Lake Michigan, Mackinac Island, Lake Huron, The Detroit and St. Clair Rivers, Lake Erie, and Tall Ships Erie, PA.

TSEC runs a bursary program as part of our charitable endeavors, which people are encouraged to apply for, as well as to donate to.

The cancellation policy is a full refund, minus a $75 administration fee, up to two weeks prior to the start of a course. Situations occurring within the last 2-weeks will be on a case by case basis.
